Domo Developments - Update on Reimbursements
Domo Developments purported to be investing in property on behalf of ordinary retail investors. The directors were well known within the property circuit, attended a number of events, and claimed to be experts with a series of YouTube videos. Largely, they found investors at property events or property training sessions.
What happened with Domo Developments?
Millions of pounds was funnelled into an unregulated investment scheme called Black Capital that is widely regarded to be fraudulent.
The directors of Black Capital and Domo Developments have all been major shareholders in a linked limited company called Domo Partners (formerly SARS Homes Ltd) since 2019.
Domo Developments was put into administration by one of its creditors and the directors allegedly provided the administrators with fake email addresses for the creditors of Domo Developments.
We have spoken to hundreds of investors with Domo Developments who have unfortunately lost money to this complex and elaborate scam.
The collapse follows Black Capital also losing investors funds and followed a typical investment scam.
Update on Reimbursements:
The good news is that cases connected to Domo Developments are moving in a positive direction, with successful recovery through UK banking regulations. This shows that recovery can be possible in situations like these.
One of our clients invested £200,000 through Barclays Bank in Domo Developments, in what they believed to be a legitimate investment.
They believed all hope was lost and their money was gone for good. We conducted a thorough investigation before submitting the case to the bank and then the Financial Ombudsman. We managed to recover all of our clients' £200,000 funds plus interest, helping them get their lives back on track.
What to do if you have invested?
If you’ve been affected, it’s important to know you’re not alone. We’re speaking to victims who are now seeing results from taking action - and we encourage others in the same position to get in touch with us to see if recovery may also be possible.
