Vaquita Capital recovering £5 million for 100+ investors
Published August 17, 2026
Vaquita Capital claimed to be investing in Forex/CFDs on behalf of its clients. In reality, the Vaquita directors falsely claimed that they were in the process of becoming FCA regulated, while stealing millions of pounds of investor money.
The scheme collapsed in 2023 and the FCA put a warning on its site in April 2023. Despite the clear evidence of fraud, banks refused to reimburse investors, who then approached Refundee in December 2023.
We are in the process of recovering more than £5 million of losses for the 100+ investors we are supporting and have already recovered £3 million.
